The purpose of the computer club is to promote computer science and programming. Some of our activities are listed below. Join us on Wednesdays to learn more.
- Use computer programming to help others
- Contests, Challenges, and Activities - group or individual
- Learn to program for beginners
- Learn more about programming for experienced programmers
- Promote programming and the Hour of Code
- Program and create apps for yourself or others
- Promote computer science at Math and Science events
Upcoming Contests and Activities
- Google Code-in - Open Source programming activities with prizes - usually in Dec-Jan
- EasyCTF - High School Capture The Flag Hacking Contest - New contests available often
- PicoCTF - picoCTF is a computer security competition open to students grades 6-12. The competition is a series of challenges where students must reverse engineer, break, hack, decrypt, or do whatever it takes to solve the problem.
- CAMS CTF - usually available in April
- High School CTF - usually available in May after the AP CS Exam
- Dream It, Code It, Win It - Create-A-Thon deadline usually in March
- Google Computer Science Summer Institute - for current seniors that will be attending a 4-year college
- IU Bloomington, School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering Summer Camp
- IUPUI Summer Opportunities
